Aubrey M. Tîzzard. I met this man in Newtonville We often taiked in a friendly 1way; He was a jolly sort of guy, I met hlm then most every day. He got the paper at early morn Then sat to read it for awhile; From chair or garage he'd wave his hand, And with it just a friendly smile. Together we \,ent for two gooçi rides, The lakes were beautiful each day; He showed us this and this and that, Then he'd corne back another way. And then in church each Sabbath morn, He loved the oid hymns for to sing; Then at each Hymn Sing gathering, His voice loud and clear did ring. When the plates were brought .forward, I'd listen to hlm sing s0 clear; "We give Thee but Thine own, O Lord, And us it when and where." But now no more we hean hlm sing, For hie has given bis ail, his ail; For there with grease gun stîll in hand,, He heard the Master's dlean sweet cail. "Lloyd!"lhe heard the cali that day, From One who is a Guide we say; Now fonever Songs of Praises, He will ever give each day. The memories that we cherish, They'll forever with us stay; Until we cross our Jordan, And meet him there some day. There was no time to bld farewell, For hie went without goodbye But there'll be a meeting yonder, In the sweet and bye and bye. Lloyd is gone and we will miss him,- But our loss is heaven's gain; But our hope is some tomorrow, We shah ail be Home again. Then the choir wili be much langer, With the people John saw there; And we'll join with Lloyd in singing, "Halleiujah! we're ail here" Newtonvilie Women's Insti- tute meet at the home of Mrs. A.
