We are sorry to, hear that she has a broken arm. No doubt she would like to hear from her friends. Mrs. j. W. Herod, Weston, Ont., visited her sister Mrs . W. Rahm last week. Also visiting were Mrs. Roy Graham, Haydon, Mr. and Mrs. Ray- mond Cameron and Shanna, Pontypool. Mrs. Rahm hbas an Easter Lily blooming for the Christmas Season. The Enniskillen School con- cert was snowed out Tuesday evening but was re-scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. It was an excellent show. The choirs are just beautiful, maintaining their standard for several years now. The kindergarten class shows every promise of keeping it that -way in the future with their sparkling performance. They portrayed the ful tableau of Christmas, from the wise men. to the shepherds complete with fluffy Iambs, to Santa and a singing reindeer. There appear to be a number of budding actors and actresses among the older students, also. It was a delightful afternoon. BETHÂNY Our sincere sympathy is extended to Mrs. Inez Rowett and family in the loss of a beloved busband and devoted father. Pete's memory among his many frieîids will be long, cherished as he was a true Christian and well-respected by al. Pete was president of the Golden Star Senior Citizens for a year and was the instigator in remodellîng the Parish Hall to make it comfortable for meetings and activities. We have been privileged to have known and been a friends of Pete Rowetts. Mrs. George Abbott of Lindsay with her children, Courtney and Geordy and her father, Harvey Fallis, paid a pre-Christm-fas visit with her aunts, Mrs. irene MacDonald anid Mrs. Roy Ferren this week. Lettor to the Edifor Dear Editor Here's a suggestion for you to make your paper. news- worthy and also be most hielpful to everybody in gene- rai. Have you ever heard anyone say, "Why is he dead? I didn't even know he was sick?" \And how many have been sick and hospitalized, and then faced a barrage of phone calis and letters as to "where you have been?" How about a front page item each week in our local paper listing EVERY local citizen who was hospitalized as of THAT week? Then if the name wasn't in the ist next week, any interested party could turn to the Deaths. If it wasn't there, it would be a clear case of survived and gone homne. 1 think our wonderful Hospi- tal officiais would gladly assist in compiling such a list. Yours truly, Mrs. E. Viola Eddyvean P.S.: It would be a big help to Bill Collectors, too. with two goals, within a one minute span, to put them ahead by a 3 - 2 count at the end of the second period.
