Over a year ago this couple was involved in a serious freak accident, when a car went out of control and pinned them to a stone wall, causing them to be hospitalized for many months. After many painful operations, Brenda and Mark were able to walk with canes and with determin- ation and perseverance the happy couple walked down the aisle to be joined in marriage. Their determination was also shown when both continued their university courses, despite their handicaps and were able to graduate, so we wish them the very best and much happiness in their married life. Relatives from this area who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Bigelow and other aunts and uncles and cousins. Also Mrs. McGee, Brenda's grand- mother, who is eighty-four years of age and while staying in Kingston, she was delighted to take a boat trip around the Thousand Islands. A speedy recovery is extended to a member of people in the hospital from this area. They are Mrs. Eloise Reynolds, Charlie and Emery Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Nil, Mrs. Norman Neals. The grade 3 and 4 drama club, directed by Mr. Thurston and costumes by Mrs. Barra- ball, portrayed a baseball game" - Gracie at the Bat" by using the idea from the poem "Casey at the Bat", and it was to prove that girls are good baseball players. Baseball has its casualties as this one did, and mothers and fathers are inclined to intervene, as this one did, and then when Gracie Sved to be a girl, what a owl of "No girls allowed', was raised. However, Gracie brought two playes home with a home-run frherself and the game was won! Laura Shea, in a cute little green dress, gave a splendid tap dance routine.
