Anglican Church News At the il a.m. Service of Holy Communion in St. George's Anglican Church the Reverend Allan Haldenby preached on the united themes of the birthday of Canada and the Apostles, St. Peter and St. Paul. These two men were very unlike but were the main leaders in the Christian Church. Their common love for Christ united them. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Jones are moving to Victoria, B.C. Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Gilmer of Tonawanda, N.Y., were Wednesday nigbt visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Phil Gilmer. Mr, and Mrs. Fred Hender- son were recent visitors witb Mr. and Mrs. Bey. Henderson, at Campbellford. For the second year, a bus load of Senior Citizens from Witby were supper guests in our churcb hall Thursday evening about f ifty being present. Our U.C.W. ladies prepared and served the meal and afterward a sing-song of old famniliar songs was enjoyed, witb Violet Gilmer at the piano. Mrs. Rowena Tizzard sang a couple solos, and also led the singing with everyone joining in and this included singing "Happy Birtbday" in bonor of Mrs. Laura McCall, who expressed ber thanks for being this remembered. - A reading by Queenie Fletcher was also part of the programn. The ladies were called in from the pantry to receive an expression of appreciation for the delicious meal and enjoyable time had by all and Shirley Stapleton in reply, included an invitation for them to repeat the trip, next year. We were pleased to meet and bave a chat with Rev. Robert Wragg, also with the group fromn Whitby, an old friend and former neighbor, who also called to see Mrs. Agnes Burley.
