A resident of Bowmanville ail his life, ho was the plant superintendent at Specialty Paper Co. Ltd., where ho had been employed for approxi- mately 30 years. Glenn was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and of the Royal Canadian Legion. During World War II ho served overseas with the Grenadier Guards in France, Belgium and Germany. An avid old time fiddle player ho had competed at the C.N.E. and at Sheîbourne, and played at1 all local events and fairs. Joanne has accepted a position with I.B.M. in Don Milîs, Toronto, Ont. PLE" have been stripped of any ability to represent us as of before Regionalization. Seems to me that all decisions regarding this area are made by one man namely, The Hon. Darcy McKeough, Provincial Treasurer, The present chairman of the Regional Council was nover elected by "WE THE PEO- PLE", and it is very clear to see that our present Provin- cial M.P.P. is not going to "ROCK THE CONSERVA- TIVE BOAT". Is this the true democracy that the free world has fought two world wars to maintain? John, amn wondering if any of your readers, who, like me, are members of the "Silent Majority" can answer my question. Regards, Norm Johnson MEtness.
