They lost out to Markham in the first playoff round, after four games. Now they will bit the tournament trail. With 4 minutes left, Meek gat his second goal for Markham making it 3 -1 at the end of the second. There was ne scoring in the third with Markham's Paul Hiscack and Taras' Mark Lee playing well in their respec- tive nets. This was a very dlean game with each team anly taking 2 penalties. Tares opened the scoring on a goal by John Klompmaker from Barry Cullen and Ed Osborne. Markham came right back ta die it up and end the period at 1 - ~1. mark Bill Hogarth scoreci with assists going to Darcy Cummings and Ed Osborne. Early in the third Addison scored for Markham to close the gap te 3 - 2. Two minutes later John Klompmaker got his second goal with assists te Brad Clemens and Ed Osborne. Ten seconds later, Addision got his second goal of the game for Markham. With just 11/2 minutes ta play, Markham's Jeff Murphy tied the game, putting the teams into a 10 minute overtime period. Markham drew first blood te take the lead at 5 - 4 but John Klompmaâker, giving him his "hat trick", scored with assîsts ta Barry Cullen and Brian Ruddy. This ended the scoring and the game at 5 - 5. The first period was scoreless. In the second Bill Hogarth scored, unassisted, while Toros were playing short- handed. At the 3 minute mark of the third, John Klampmaker scored unassisted. Markham neyer giving up came back with two goals ta tie it up at 2 - 2. With just 32 seconds left in regulation time Barry Cullen scored with assists going to John Klompmaker and Brian Ruddy. Geing all the way and playing well in Toro's net was Mark Lee. By Toros winning this game it forced a 4th and final which was played in Markham. Markham 3 Flying Dutchman Mter Inn 2 Brian Ruddy opened the scaring with an unassisted goal and also the only goal of the first period. In the second, Brad Clemens drilled a low shot to the corner of Markham's net after being set up by Bill Hogarth, which seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back. Markham scered with only 20 seconds left in the second period. At the two minute mark of the third Markham scered to tie the game at 2 - 2. This seemed to spark our Toros ,Who completely dominated play, doing everything but put the puck in the net. With less than three minutes remaining, Markham got the puck in our end and were able te slide it past our netminder Paul Adams. This ended the game at 3 - 2 for Markham and also the series. This ended Flying Dutchman Motor Inn's guest of an All Ontario Champion- ship. Summing up at this time about all that can be said "Good Luck in the George- town Tournament."
