The Toros took a three goal lead in the first period on goals by Ray Cummings, unassisted, Chuck Nash from Roger Hornsby and Robert Geid- linger, the third goal by Chris Michelson assisted by Gordie Rogers and Mike Hamel. Oshawa scored their lone goal of the game in the second period on a goal by Gerry Perdue assisted by Kirk McNeil. The Toros scored two more goals in the second with Ray Cummings scoring from Chuck Nash, with Mike Hamel scoring from Chris Michelson. The Toros scored six goals in the third period. Scott Heard scored his first of the game with Deryk Clark and Danny Weir picking up assists. Robt. Geidlinger scor- ed with Cummings and Nash assisting. The Toros seemed to lack interest in this game and gave goaltender Donny Haynes very little help as the puck and player were lef t in front of the net the whole game. Bay Ridges scored three in the first period on goals by Gord Bullock, Frank Plummer and Stuart Carson. They scored five more in the second peniod with Brian Bauldry, Stuart Carson, Andy Vanoorden, Frank Plummer and Stuart Carson again.
