Caesanea Euchre Club Aithougli the weather was stormy, Wed. evening last for the weekly card party, quite a number braved the elements. As Jesus rode into Jeru- salem on a donkey, that first Palm Sunday, the crowd reacted by strewing His path with palm branches and shouting for joy. Some in the crowd understood Christ and His teachings. Others feit very emotional about the procession before them . Perhaps the reaction of the crowd can teach us some- thing? Mass rallies, emotional speeches and emotional music produce a temporary glow in the heart. What is our reaction to Christ? Sheer emotionalism? Or does lie demand my life, my soul, my al9? pnize- Olive Frayer, 3rd prize - Eva MacDonald. The Ladies' Auxiliary are planning a "Special Easter Euchre"l for next week. These enthused members make community if e more enjoy- able - no hum-drum existence for Caesarea folks and those who are interested enough to attend from a distance. The only drawback is the weather man - he just won't co- operate. Hopefully next Wed. evening will be a fine night with a splendid attendance. You may be sure a warm welcome awaits you.
