Victor Parsons delivered an inspiring message "Glad Day Breaking" and based his topic on lst Peter - I - Verses 3 - 9, and Mark 16 - Verses 1 - 8. In the choir Miss Gail Malcolm sang the beautiful sacred solo "The Holy City" with Mrs. Gwen Malcolm at the organ. Mr. Norman Mairs and Mr. Ralph Saddler took the offering. Our Reg. Mrs. Gwen Malcolm welcomed 14 members and opened the meeting with a poem wntitled "This Happy Easter Time." Hymn 485 "Jesus Keep Me Near The Cross" was sung. A splendid Easter Devotion- ai was given by Mrs. Nita Fish and Miss Gail Malcolm. Mrs. Gwen Malcolm showed a film of the Easter story from the "Black His Passion Play". A record was played of "The Holy City" and much enjoyed, bringing the devotional to a, close. The Rol Call, (namne a favourite Easter hymn) was answered by ahl present. The business was handled with dispatch and included: (1) The Report on Oshawa Pres- byterial, (2) Report from Quilt Committee. The members are meeting at the home of Mrs., Bernice Mairs for the Quilting pat,(3) Plans are in the ofigfor May 6th when the Janetville United Church Choir will present "A Sp ring Programme" to be hef in North Nestieton Church at 8 p.m. The Organist wiil be Mrs. Kathy Malcolm, a good attendance is hoped for. This promises to be a fine evening of music. (4) Plans were made for the U.C.W. Spring Supper to be held May 1Bth, in the Community Centre. The next regular meeting of Nestleton U.C.W. will be held May 14th at the home of Mrs. Gwen Malcolm. The Easter Programme was presented by Mrs. Nita Fish. After closing, an enjoyable lunch was served by the hostess Mrs. Norma Frew assisted by Mrs. Helen Vine, Mrs. Dorothy Haines and Mrs. Doris Rohrer. Mrs. Bernice Mairs extend- ed a vote of thanks to the hostess, the group leader and to ail who helped make the meeting so enjoyable. Caesarea Euchre Club Reports indicate a good attendance at last Wednesday -evening Euchre held in the Community Centre. A special Easter draw "Large Easter Rooster" was won by Mardie Handyside. Winners for the Euchre were: lst, Mrs. Marg France, Scugog Point; 2nd, Mrs. Olive Frayer, Caesarea and low, score, Mrs. Evelyn Souter, Scugog Point. As, the weather improves, the members of the Ladies' Auxiiiary are looking forward to a good crowd every Wednesday, evening so let's keep-the Euchre in' mmd and flot disappoint them. South Nestleton Presbyterian Church In the Presbyterian Church Suday morning Mrs. George Scott favoured with organ music and Misses Peggy and Alison Scott sang a beautiful Easter duet. Miss Bulmar delivered a fine message,- "Easter Changes Everything" and based hier topic on Matthew 27 verses 27-54. "Past, Present and Future. As we meditate, think over the past events in your life - the joys and-the struggles. Ini what ways have you grown? Think of what life would be like if you didn't have any experiences - good or bad! What does your faith say to you today? Is it an up-to-date with Christ in the midst of our life events? Ponder and think through these two questions. (1) What differences has Christianity made in my life? (2) What does Christ mean in today's world? Presbyterian Ladies' Aid Nestleton Ladies' Aid met in the Presbyterian Church Hall Thursday afternoon with a good attendance'and a wel- come from the Pres. Mrs. H. Lee. Mrs. H.
