BOWMANVILLE, ONTARIO, JULY 11, 1979 SECTION TWO On the waterfront. Canoe races and log rolling attracted a number of contestants and spectators during Bowmanvifle Week. Here, a contestant in the log-rolling event heads for a watery landing. You certainly couldn't say this event was as easy as falling off alog. The winner of the competition was Wayne Fleetwood. Mike Kirkton, of Bowmanville, placed second ini the annual Bowmanville Week fiddle contest. Winning bed-racing team in the ladies division.
