She anticipatesl spending some time With her son Donald who will be returning from Saudi Arabia for a few weeks vacation in Canada. Mrs. Audrie Brown is on the anniversary circuit. Last week she attended the 5th wedding anniversary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pickett at the home of their son and wife Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pickett in Toronto. On Saturday she plans to attend the 25th anniversary of her stepson and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Eldon McFarlancl also in Toronto. Congratulations to the Maltheb Farms (the Yelverton Girls Softball team) wbo finally eliminated all their competition by finishing off the Janetville Girls in the sixtb game by a score of 6 to 3 in the four out of seven series. Deepest sympathy is extended to Mr. Wilson Heaslip and Mrs. Heaslip's family in the sudden passing of a loving wife and mother, Mrs. Margaret Heaslip. Marg, despite a continuing healtb problem over past number of years, possessed a great vitality and love of life that kept ber involved in many community activities. She was earlier an active member of the Song Spinners and Lindsay Hospital Auxiliary. Margaret during ber years in our community was an, active member of U.C.W. and active in various community pro jects. Ontario Street School students organized a car wash on Saturday, Sept. 29th and when the last vehicle was cleaned, they had netted a profit of $159.00 to be used in the future for special school activities.
