The audience was given a chance ta participate vocally in some Christmas Carols played by the Senior Band. The choir, "The Courtice Singers'" sang some very beautiful harmany in an interestingly varied pragram. And was the pizzazz in that Junior Band because of or in spite of the recent deluge of citrus fruit? It all sounded pretty good, anyway; we can hardly wait for the Spring concert in May. The United Church Women held their Christmas Party on December 12, 1979 at The Acres Restaurant. Following a delightful buffet, Christmas Carols and a devotional were enjoyed. Court Whist and visiting concluded a satisfying evenîng with neighbors and friends. Thanks goes ta the committee in charge, Lamaa Davey, Edna Wood, Arlene Rowan, Doreen Park and Betty Pascoe.
