Section Two The Canadian Statesman, Bowman'ville, December 19, 1979 19 Letter to Editoir Mrs. Alice Faye O'Neil R.R. 3, Gr. 4, Box 5 Bowmanville, Ontario LiC 3K4 Dec. 11, 1979 Mayor Garnet Riekard; Today,I excused myseif for interrupting your lunch hour and asked you if you would read a letter which I feit was very important concerning a letter to a Mrs. Lawrence and I appreciate you taking the time to read it. I thought that since you are -the Mayor and should have the "concerns" ,and "best interests of the public" as a whole, you might have been able to help or at least maybe give me some advice. Thank, you for the help? you gave me, which was to respond "that" (and I ~quote) "Things will probably work out ail right." Some help! So, seeing as you' have a probiemn which has been in the newspapers, concerning a sui tab]le place for a graveyard site and you'd stated any farmland would do, well I have your prohlem solved and 'm glad if it will HELP YOU as YOUR FARMLAND is the perfect solution and couldn't be in a better place as far as I'm concerned. Maybe all the people on the council should bring it to a vote and also maybe the citizens should have a say in this matter too, which is their <decision if they'd care to. MYSELF, I'd vote for your farmland. My address is ahove and phone number. If you want to caîl me, feel free to do so. Also the unsigned concerned citizens? of Bowmanville, regarding My sarcastic response to their letter to Mrs. Lawrence can caîl too. 1 want to thank Mr. James for printing my sarcastic letter that was for the unsign- ed citizens.
