Each boy fired ten rounds at each of two Dominion Expert Targets making a total possible score of 200. In Class A for marksmen over an average score of 90, Bob Porter placed first with 199, Ted Lane second with 192. In Class B, Peter Belsey was first with 194, and J. De With 193. FLASHBACK - 10 YEARS AGO - On Sunday in K'the Junior Town League hockey game, Ken's Men's Wear defeated Bill's, and Legion defeated Nichols. Scoring for Ken's were Walroff and Evans. Bill's scorers were Melntyre and Lever. Nichols goal getters were Green and Dônoghue, and Legion scorers were Prout and Akey. Wood Toros vs Bay Ridges at Don Beer Arena Bowmanville tied the home team 5-all in a penalty riddled game. Bay Ridges scored the first two goals of the game, one at 2:26 and the ather at 6:09 followed by the Transporters at 6:13 when Marc Richards was set up by Jim Hogalfth and Kevin Anyan. At 9:55, Kevin Welsh took a pass from Kevîn Anyan and made no mistake about it. Bay Ridges scored twice more before the period ended. The Taras had the anly scores in the second period, when the twa "Mighty Mites" combined, Jim Hogarth assisted by Don King and then Darcy Cummings was set up by Brian Strong.
