E., Toronto, had met death in the waters of the Valley River, near Dauphin, Manitoba. He is a son of Dr. G. H. Burnham, Warren Road, Toronto, and was 26 years of age. He was head of- the survèy and it was as a member of the Manitoba branch of the Dominion Hydro-graphic Survey that Mr. Burnham was working near Dauphin.
