Clemens motored up Much sympathy is felt for Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hooper in the loss of their little daughter Clara who passed away on Friday evening after nearly three years' suffering. The funeral, which took place Sunday afternoon, was largely attended. The church was nicely decorated with flowers and the day was considered a splendid success. Monday a chicken pie supper was served which the good ladies so well know how to prepare which with the variety of other good things were thoroly enjoyed. The evening program was presided, over by Pastor J. E. Beckel and addresses were given by Revs. R. A. Delve, Ebenezer, and I Rev. Brown who also gave variety to the program with a number of readings. Miss Foster gave a number of solos which-com Pleted a pleasing program. Proceeds including including the social gathering Tuesday evening evening of the congregation amounted to about $255.
