Bowmanville, September 29,1982 11 Yelverton Visitors this past week with Eileen and Howard Malcolm included Eileen's aunt, Miss Betty Whittaker of Hamilton and Eileen's cousin Mrs. Sandy MacDonald, Matthew and Brian of Halifax. Pleased to report that Mr. Clarence Page was released from Peterboro Civic Hospital this week and was able to return home. Here at Malconia with the aid of Ryans "Cat" our backyard which formerly was the site of our large hip-roof barn and accessory buildings currently resembles the plains of Abraham - everything gone foundations buried and total area denuded of everything - flat and as bare as a baby's bum. Quite a change from its former image to be sure. In fact our 4 barn cats, excellent mousers, have no place to lay their weary heads. Anyone willing to accept a cat or two or more, please contact us at 705-277-2983. These are not house cats. The economic situation has been a major concern to almost everyone in Canada. This week we spied a wolf getting pretty close to our door here at Malconia - a real life, 4 footed wolf, that is. Hope she doesn't have a litter of pups on our doorstep, A6RI-NEWS The following are the results of the Competition at Durham Central Fair: Grand Champion Showper- son: John Snowden, Black- stock.
