A beautiful but cool day brought forth our worshippers to our Thanksgiving service on Sunday. Our church was almost filled to capacity. Joe expressed appreciation to all those who helped in decorating decorating the church with fruits, vegetables and many floral pieces. The children came forward for their special time with Pastor Joe, During the children's hymn the pupils and teachers retired to the lower level for their Sunday School classes. The senior choir sang a delightful anthem under the direction of their organist and leader Mrs. Ulah Chambers. The Old Testament Lesson was taken from Deut. 37 : 7 - 14, 33 : 26, 27a, The Epistle was from Acts 14: 8-18. The Gospel was Mark 8: 1-9. Joe's Message was based on "The Source of Abundance". The U.C.W. Meeting will be held in the Church at 7.30 p.m, on „ Oct. 20th with Marjory Ferries, Oshawa as guest speaker.
