Oct. 24 with Rev. Dale Davis presenting an excellent message entitled "Children of God." The Sunday School children sang, "Everyday With Jesus" with Carol Mairs accompanying. The scripture was read by Claire MacKenzie and the offering taken by Ken Weir and Dwight Davis. The delightful young folk of the Sunday School with their beaming faces - along with their dedicated teachers add a great deal to the service. We cannot express in mere words our appreciation to them. During the service, Nicholas David, infant son of Joanne and David Malcolm was baptized. Family, grandparents and a great grandfather were present for the occasion. Next Sunday, Oct. 31,11:15 a.m. the Nestleton United Church Anniversary will be held wilh guest speaker, Rev. Sian Crookall, and soloist Miss Lyn McLaughlin. Keep in mind Wed. evening, Oct. 27- 8 p.m. Nestleton Session and Stewards meeting in the church. An average attendance at the Nestleton Presbyterian Church .on Sunday morning. Rev. Fred Swann continued with Romans 15 using as his theme "Tolerance and a Christian Relationship." Next Sunday service at 11 a.m. A warm welcome to all to attend. A very good congregation at the Caesarea Community Church on Sunday, Oct. 24 with Jane Anne McGill playing the organ. Local folk are attending the Sunday School and Church are, growing. Rev. W.H. Crawford Crawford spoke on "Compassion" taken from Scripture Isaiah 53. A cordial welcome to the friendly Community Church in Caesarea. Sunday School at 10 a.m. Family worship at 11 a.m. Eastern Star Installation A fine number of sisters and brothers from other Chapters attended the Installation Installation ceremonies of Blue Ray Chapter, No. 238, Order of the Eastern Star held Thurs. eve October 14th, in the Masonic Temple, Port Perry, to honour the newly elected Worthy Matron Sister Joyce Taylor, Black- stock, and her corp of Officers for 1962-1963 term. The opening ceremonies under the leadership of Worthy Matron Sister Shirley Nicholls assisted by Worthy Patron Brother Bill Nicholls of Caesarea, was carried out in the usual competent manner. Many dignitaries were welcome in the East as well as Matrons and Patrons from other chapters. A splendid number of Past Matrons and Past Patrons were greeted. After a short business period was conducted by Matron Shirley Nicholls the Officers retired for a brief recess. The Installation ceremonies were conducted in a highly efficient manner by the Installing Board. At the close the new Worthy Matron Sister Joyce Taylor expressed warm appreciation appreciation to Officers and members of Blue Ray for the honour conferred upon her - she also thanked the members of the Installing Board for the beautiful ceremony. Her Worthy Patron Brother Sam Cawker spoke briefly re- the support received from officers and members and stated he was happy to be able to assist Sister Joyce in the coming year. Sister Joyce was the recipient recipient of many lovely gifts to commemorate the occasion. Sister Cathy Bourque and the retiring Patrol received his Jewel from Sister Frances Gibson. At the close of the meeting a delicious buffet supper .was enjoyed convened by Elsie WUbur and Margaret Jeffrey As Joyce assumes the responsibility responsibility of her office for the year ahead, we extend "orr very warmest wishes" for an inspiring, progressive as well as happy, successful year promoting the principles principles of our fine Benevolent Order. r A lot ot people call life "The Survival of the Fittest" You know, a lot of people are rlsht icnon0m PMKmKnont
