The election is over with some surprises and other results not so surprising. The amazing factor remains such a relatively low voter turnout - just over 42 per cent. Just think almost 6 out of each 10 voters didn't make the effort to get out to vote. There should be little complaining because surely those who didn't vote won't be able to voice opinions for the next three years. Often this is not the case. Congratulations to . all the winners in the various positions, On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. George Bryant, Julie and Christopher, Mr.' and Mrs. Gerald Kelly and family attended attended the Santa Claus Parade in Toronto. How many of you recognized some local faces in the parade? Robyn Ward, Julie Bryant and Eleanor Kelly all partic- pated as walkers in the parade and reports a fun experience experience in spite of the cold weather.
