Foodmart® A very spring like day brought forth our worshippers for the service on Sunday. Our organist Ulah Chambers played played a new hymn for us before the Introit "We Have Come Into His House". Pastor Joe's children's story was based on "Clean Inside, Clean Outside". Outside". The Junior Choir sang a delightful anthem called "Catch Fire". There were only four of the choir members members present and considering this we were very proud of them for doing such a good job. During the hymn the Junior Sunday School Classes and teachers retired to the lower level for their classes. Mr. Lafave's Text was Mathew 5: 38 - 48. Pastor Joe's Message was entitled "There Oughta' be a law!" I would like to share an inspirational poem with you written by Helen Steiner Rice. It is entitled "Storms Bring Out the Eagles but the Little Birds Take Cover." When the "storms of life" gather darkly ahead, I think of these wonderful words I once read, And say to myself as "threatening "threatening clouds" hover Don't fold up your wings "and run for cover" But like the eagle "spread wide your wings" And "soar far above" the trouble life brings For the eagle knows that the higher he flies The more tranquil and brighter brighter become the skies.. And there is nothing |n life God ever asks us to bear, That we can't soar above "On The Wings Of Prayer", And looking back over the storm you passed through You'll find you gained strength strength and new courage, too, For in facing "life's storms" with an Eagle's Wings You can fly far above earth's small, petty things.
