Professional Social Workers Plan to Form Branch The Ontario Association of Professional Social Workers, which has recently seen a dramatic and substantial increase increase in membership and activity across the province, is gaining local support with the formation of a Durham Region Branch of the O.A.P.S.W. An informal survey among local social workers showed that a majority prefer to form a local branch, and the Durham Durham Region Branch (Provisional) (Provisional) of Ontario Association Pr of Professional Social Workers has formed. A Steering Steering Committee (Provisional) for the Durham- Branch is composed of local social work professionals. The committee plans several significant activities activities for 1983.
