Bob Skene scored on a hard shot as he stormed in from the blue line with assists going to Grant Wright and Warren Townsley. Ray Crom- bie took another hard shot from the blue line that was tapped in by George Sains- bury. Bob Marjerrison scored our final goal on a rebound from a shot by Ron Clemens. On Saturday, we were defeated 7 - 6 in another close game in Mimieo by the Lakeshore Oldtimers. Bow- manville's goals were scored by Gerry Henderson with two, Siegi Rohr, Bob Marjerrison, Joe Balson and Bob Sheridan. A lot of praise should go to our undermanned and injured defensive corps of Dan Girardi, Ray Crombie, Bob Skene and Grant Wright who played a valiant game. Art Hester was in the Bowmanville Bowmanville net for both contests. This coming Friday night at 8:00 p.m., the Oldtimers team from Stirling, Ontario will be our visitors in Bowmanville arena. Bob Abbott, a long time resident and well-known athlete of Bowmanville, now plays for Stirling. Come to the arena to watch a well-played game of hockey. The price is right. Admission is free.
