Police Briefs By Donna Fairey The commercial's claim that things go better with Coke seems to have been taken seriously in view of an incident incident which occurred near Orono last week. Durham Regional Police are investigating the theft of $175 from a Coke machine at Peakes Esso on Highway 115 and 35. The machine was pried open and left penniless. Police are seeking two males and one female who were observed observed driving an orange Volkswagen near the scene at the time of the incident. The thieves who vandalized the Newcastle village liquor store Saturday showed a definite preference for rum and rye. A window was broken to gain entry and the robbers left with a generous supply of whisky and white rum. Even police are a little sketchy about the motivation which caused two young men to rip off eight loaves of bread from Bowmanville's A & P store last week. The youths were apprehended near the store following the incident. David Arnold Ward of Oshawa and Timothy John Hamstra of no fixed address were arrested arrested in connection with the bread caper. Arthur Allan GeGere of 324 Wilson Road South, Oshawa will appear in Bowmanville court on April 12th to face charges laid in connection with a break-in last week at a Cove Road cottage. Drain thoroughly. : ' Beat eggs, milk, salt, tarragon and pepper together. Place well drained broccoli in partially partially baked pie shell. Pour egg milk mixture over. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees degrees C) 40 minutes or until set.
