Tonight Tonight (Wed.) as usual for a fun-filled evening. Nestleton United Church Women The Nestleton U.C.W. met at the home of Mrs. Robert Davidge, Williams Point, on the afternoon of April 12. Hie president, Mrs. Norman Mairs, welcomed the 13 ladies present and read "The Master's Touch" and "Rain Song" from Easter Ideals Book. Mrs. Arnold Williams was acting acting secretary. The opening hymn "He Leadeth Me" was followed followed by the roll call - A Parable of Jesus. Cards were signed for the ill. A splendid Easter Devotional Devotional and Study Topic was presented by Mrs. Lawrence Malcolm's group. Mrs. Robert Davidge read the Scripture Scripture from Luke, Chapter 24 and led in prayer. Two hymns were sung. Mrs. Wm. Nicholls gave a paper on the meaning of Easter and read two poems by Patience Strong - The Message and Resurrection. Prayer concluded this meaningful devotional. During the business period, minutes and correspondence correspondence were read and plans were finalized for the Spring Smorgasbord on May 13. Members agreed to cater to an Open House on May 8. Before the meeting all had donned their unique and eye-catching Easter Bonnets. Now they marched marched around to the music of Easter Parade modelling modelling them amid humorous comments and laughter. Mrs. A. Williams and Mrs. G. Fish were tied for having the most ravishing hats in the parade - judged by Mrs. N. Mairs and Mrs. W. Nicholls. A contest, won by Mrs. Richard MacKenzie followed. Meeting closed with Miz- pah Benediction. Following the delicious lunch and social hour, Mrs. Grace Jackson expressed expressed appreciation to those in charge of the meeting.
