Mr. Dave Dixon, husband of Wendy Dixon who taught for several years in the Senior Grades in C.C.P.S. is recovering well from a heart transplant transplant performed in February February in a London, Ontario Ontario Hospital. It is hard to believe that such major surgery is performed performed on a regular basis without widespread widespread media coverage. On Thursday evening a large number of local students and parents attended the Annual Spring Swing in Port Perry High School. Participating Participating in this fine music concert were the Cartwright Primary Choir conducted by Mrs. C. Swain and accompanied accompanied by Miss K. This Anniversary party was held in Ebenezer Church. Friday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lome Hoskin were Mr. and Mrs. Beth Hoskin, Iven of Bowmanville. Mr. and Mrs. Lome Hoskin were guests on Sunday at a shower for Dale Vivian and Diana Jasperfeyer in Zion. On Sunday the Bryans family helped Steven celebrate his 19th birthday. birthday. Guests at his party were Lorinda Jackson, Gord and Debbie Bryans, Rick and Alpe and Patti Bryans. The Achievement Day for the Homemaking Club "LOOKING GREAT, FEELING GREAT" was held at Enniskillen Public School on Friday evening. During the evening the three Black- stock Clubs performed. Blackstock II presented a skit Happiness is Keeping Fit; Black- stock III did a skit Help! My Skin's a Mess, while Blackstock I gave an exhibit presentation Fitness for Life. Three local girls were presented with their County Honours Certificates Certificates and Pins for the completion of 6 units while Elizabeth Kelly received her Provincial Honours Certificates and Pins for the completion completion 12 units. The Blackstock Youth Group enjoyed an afternoon afternoon of Bowling in Port Perry on Sunday afternoon. afternoon. They assisted with Morning Worship on Sunday.
