A season featuring the great and familiar composers being performed by some of the top artists in the country has been announced by the Oshawa Symphony Orchestra. A six- concert series grows to eight performances this year with the Symphony's Board of Directors deciding to repeat two of the concerts expected to draw large audiences - Handel's "Messiah" will be performed on a Sunday afternoon afternoon (Nov. 27) as well as the regular Tuesday night (Nov. 29). "A Night with Rogers and Hammerstein" featuring internationally known singers, tenor Mark Dubois and baritone baritone Mark Pedrotti, will be available on a Wednesday night (March 7,1984,) as well as the usual Tuesday (March 6).
