Dennis Gatchell of our area was seriously seriously injured and is in Sun- nybrook Hospital. The driver of the other truck, Mr. Gray was killed. Over the weekend, Beth Schryburt participated participated in the play "What Glorious Times They Had" in Oshawa. Several from the area enjoyed attending this production. Over 185 gathered at the Blackstock United Church on Tues., Oct. 25 for the Oshawa Presbytery U.C.W Rally. Special speaker was Evelyn Locke of Springfield, near Peterborough. Peterborough. Quite a number from Blackstock attended the Anniversary service of Nestleton United Church on Sunday morning when guest speaker was Rev. John Smith. Next Sunday will be the anniversary service here at Blackstock at 10 a.m. with Rev. Harry Atkinson, Atkinson, special speaker with special music provided by the Tunettes, a ladies' quartette.
