In the first period, Ryan Putnam scored from Jeff Flintoff and Shawn McFadyen only to have Belleville tie the game sixteen seconds later. Then at 4:17 of the first period, Matthew Doughty put the Toros ahead for good after being set-up by Greg White and Jason Kiely. In the second period, Shawn McFadyen popped in his first goal from Ryan Putnam and Jason Kiely at the 4:22 mark and just over a minute later Shawn McFadyen scored his second from Ryan Putnam and Chris Brown to give the Toros 4-1 lead. Kent Vanderheyden then broke down the left side and blasted a beauty by the bewildered bewildered Belleville goalie on a perfect set-up from Matthew Doughty and Martin d'Entremont. Thirty-three seconds later Matthew Doughty showed his magic around the goal and blinked the red light for his second goal with Kent Vanderheyden and Martin d'Entremont assisting. Shawn McFadyen, then ended the Toro romp in the third period, scoring his third of the game with the hard working Ryan Putnam picking picking up his third assist. Although the Jine of Geoff Goode, Corey Chambers and Greg White never did get on the scoresheet as a line, they did play a strong game and their hard work has not gone unnoticed. Blueliners Jeff Flintoff, Ronnie Luxton, Jason Kiely and Kevin Roberts all played solidly as did both goaltenders Geoff Smith and Jason Hiscock. Great team effort, boys. Keep hustling!
