i 8 The Canadian Statesman, Bowmanville, November 9,1983 Section Two The auditorium of St. Joseph's Separate School was filled last Monday afternoon with costumed characters befitting Hallowe'en eve. Nearly every student turned up at school bedecked for the annual costume party. Prizes were presented to the students who created the best costumes in various categories. The winners are shown above front row from left: Stephanie Burgess, Jason Dillon and Corey Chambers. Rear from left are: Barbara Graham, Robert Barrett, Darren Keates and Jason Jackman. There was everything from costumed witches to E.T. in the Edna Thomson Day Care procession of little people that dropped by the Statesman office last Monday morning. The halls of St. Joseph's Separate School were haunted last month with witches, ghosts, men from outer space and punk rockers with colored hair. The occasion was the school's Hallowe'en costume party. A number of prizes were awarded for the best costume in various categories.
