Jones and left to visit with his brother Jim and Aunt Meta Kellar, Oshawa and watch the Santa Claus Parade in Oshawa. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Mill- son, Mrs. Cindy and Adam Millson visited with Mrs. Marie Gable and family, Bethany on Sunday and dropped dropped in for a short visit with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Millson and family. Jan Mayer reported the Boy Scouts of Canada are to procure procure about fifty pine trees for our club as one of our bicentennial bicentennial projects. We discussed the subject of buying a flag for the Community Community Centre and Mr, R. Mayer has offered to donate the flag pole. Since no big rush is on yet for a couple of months, we decided to leave this item for the New Year's discussion. Ross and Jean Ashton have consented to take on the Community Centre Caretaking Caretaking task. It was moved by Jan Mayer and seconded by Jean Slemon for Jean A. to get some of the supplies needed and Meta Swain to get paper needed and to get soap dispensers dispensers for washrooms (as caretaker caretaker these past years). A vote of thanks was expressed to Eileen Blackburn for lier work these past years as caretaker, A discussion concerning the work being done by Ralph and Johanna Hills in Zambia brought forth the motion by Eileen Blackburn and second by Jean Slemon to give a chenue to them, now that they' are here in our community to be used in his work in Africa, Collection was taken and B four served u lovely , !
