Ellen Martyn, Luke and Joshua were Sunday guests with Harold and Dora Martyn while Ron was attending a Gerontology Gerontology Convention in San Francisco. The local rink will soon be underway as the new part arrived on the weekend. On Sunday afternoon and evening a good delegation of members and leaders of our Blackstock Youth Group attended the Presbyary Youth Rally at Bowmanville. Teacher-Parents Interviews Interviews will be held on Thursday, Nov. 24th from 4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m . at C.H.S. Report cards must be picked up. If this time is not convenient please call the school for another appointment. Blackstock Nursery School There are nine openings openings for nursery school classes. Any new children will not start until until January because of the change of teachers. The Nursery School will be paying the entire cost of the children's goody bag for this year's Christmas party, Dec. 16th. There will be lucky draws for two children and two mothers. The Borelians will be performing performing for us. The annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa is on Dec. 4th and help will be needed for people to sell tickets and cook. Anyone wishing to donate to the craft table can look at the list on the classroom door. Our float theme for the Santa Claus Parade in Port Perry on Nov. 26th is Winter Wonderland with Frosty and his wife Crystal and of course, lots of children!
