Sympathy is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Coyle, Brandon, Matthew and Nathan on the death of her grandmother, Mrs. Annis of Ebenezer. Mr. Harvey Bonathon, last Monday, departed for his winter home in Florida. Mrs. Wilda Johnson and Gary attended the Norwood Santa Claus Parade on Saturday. Saturday. Granddaughter Krista Rumbles was on the Centennial Centennial Pharmacy float. On Sunday, the Johnsons enjoyed the Craft Show at Norwood Town Hall, returning to Harper Kelsey's for the Grey Cup Game. On Saturday morning, Mr. Verne Vasey of Toronto called on Mr. and Mrs. William Storks. Verne was a friend of the late Harold Deline, Pauline's brother. Miss Candy Storks returned to Blind River last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Alf Garrod enjoyed Sunday with their families. In the morning with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Couch and granddaughter Krista and Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Sierd De Jong, Derek and Tammy. Mrs. Jean Rickard returned last Monday from an eighteen- day visit with her daughter and son-in-law, David and Janice Mills and grandson Jeffrey, St. Albert, Alberta. Anglican Church News St. George's A.C.W. met in St. George's Parish Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 23rd. They had a review of the work during the year and allocated some of their funds to various projects. ' Members of the Anglicans in Mission program of St, Saviour's and St. George's Church had a dinner meeting at St. George's Rectory on Saturday evening when they reviewed the successful venture and ongoing work. The opening of the Advent Season was introduced with Holy Communion at each Service at St. George's on Sunday. The choir sang the anthem, Creator of the Stars. White Gifts were received for local and diocesan outlets. The theme of the Advent Candle lighting is peace, in the person, home, community and world.
