Douglas Jose, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Harry Jose of Newcastle is now Assistant Professor and Extension Service, Quality, Speed - With Economy Is Motto of All 5th Wheel Truck Stops The motto at Fifth Wheel Truck Stops is simple: "Service, quality, speed and economy." That's the philosophy of the company's founders, and they are the watchwords of every staff member. "Each of our truck stops offers a group of services which are available around the clock -- 24 hours a day, seven days a week," pointed out Lewis Loveridge, vice-president of Fifth Wheel. "The typical truck stop offers a number of essential services such as fuel, tires, restaurant, motel and store, combined with some away-from- home extras so important to a driver on the road -- such as showers, TV lounge and games room. Mr. Loveridge points out that drivers appreciate Fifth Wheel's extensive credit system, canopied fuel islands and the fact they can call in on the CB radio for emergency service. Two of the Fifth Wheel units also have a truck wash facility and a barber shop on-site. "We're here to serve the trucker, the traveller and the townspeople," he said. "I guess you could say 'service' is our middle name." Best Wishes to the Fifth Wheel on the Grand Opening of your New Motel Addition It was our pleasure to be chosen to supply building materials for this fine new building.
