Hunt's came from behind to make up a four goal deficit to earn a point in the league standings. The first place Golf Club team members are from The Castle Hotel won its game last week in Thursday Night Town League action, defeating Town Sports 6-4. Only two games remain in the regular season before the four teams meet in the playoffs. Townsports led after the first period 2 - 1, the teams were tied at two after two periods and during the third period Castle came from behind twice to tie the game before scoring the go ahead and insurance goals in the last minute of play. Scoring for the Holders were Kevin Tink with two goals, John Hogarth, Bill Hogarth, Barry Oliver and Dave Wilson. Assists went to John Hogarth, Hogarth, Geo. Kerr, Bill Hogarth, Barry Oliver, Dave Wilson, Ralph Cryderman and Mark Slemon. Scoring for Townsports were Bruce Osborne, Dennis Broome, Kevin Hawes and Brian Allin. Hunts came out flying in the third to tie the game at 4 - 4. Bowmanville Golf went ahead 5 - 4 on a powerplay goal in the last minutes of the game but were unable to hold on as Hunts tied the game with only seconds remaining. Scoring for the Country Club were Jerry Johnson with three goals, Mike Adams and Tim Almond. Assists went to Gary Dusseldorp with three, Joe Carauna and Doug Tamblyn.
