Councillor Bruce Taylor brought greetings from the town. The delicious turkey dinner was served by the Hockey Mothers. Trevor Martin who won the MVP Coaches trophy for the Juveniles was absent. Jaycees Launch MS Fund-Raising Campaign d Paul Stainton of the Bantam 2s received the MVP Hooper Trophy Centre trophy, presented by Fred Braybrook. Bowmanvillc's Jaycees officially launched heir fund-raising campaign for the Multiple clerosis Society of Canada last Thursday even- ng, April 26, at a dinner held at the Bowmanville Jons Centre. The Jaycees hope to raise $5,000 hrough fund-raising efforts such as MS collection mxes and the sale of carnations on May 12. The banquet also included a number of local Multiple Sclerosis Society Society volunteers. Scott McLeod was the high scorer for the Major Midgets and received the McGregor Drug trophy from Dave Gilchrist. Dennison Introduces Imprinters Bruce Smith, National Sales Manager of the Industrial Systems Division of Dennison Manufacturing Canada Inc. announced recently that the company has introduced two additional models to its new INTACSz 4200 series of low- cost, easy to operate tag and label imprinters. Model 4202 can imprint up to 120 characters per second, on forms up to eight inches wide. Model 4205 is capable of imprinting as many as 350 characters per second, on forms up to 131j inches wide. Mr. Smith also emphasized that like all 1NTACS 4200 machines, both of the new models can print multiple lines of both human and machine-readable data in a broad range of sizes and formats, including OCR, Code 39, two of five Interleaved, UPC, MAN, Codabar . and I'lcssey bar codes. These stand-alone imprinters are designed for on-site industrial environments. Piano Duet by Ian Dewell, second prize winner In the Oshawa Kiwanis Music Festival, and his dad, Doug Dewell. Following the program, the pupils were treated to cookies and pop which they thoroughly enjoyed, We are thankful to the director director Mr, Doug Dewell, teachers and pupils, for an evening that will be remembered, A short business meeting followed, and as there were not enough wishing to go to the Briers the trip was cancelled. The executive committee held a meeting to plan for the coming meetings.
