8 The Canadian Statesman, Bowmanville, May 16,1984 Court Lady Snowbird Welcomes New Members At Regular Meeting Nestleton - Caesarea News by Mabel Cawker Mother's Day Tribute Trust all Mothers had a special day on Sunday - a day set aside in 1907 to express love and appreciation for her efforts over the year. Mother plays a "key" role and we hope she was the recipient of visits from the family - if too far away a phone call - a card - a meaningful day filled with love - remember - each one of us has only one Mother! Court Lady Snowbird L1930 - Canadian Foresters President Irene Train welcomed nine members members to the regular meeting of Court Lady Snowbird L1930 on April 30, at the home . of Shirley Jackson. The minutes were read by Sec'y Carol Doyle and approved. Treas. Dorothy Dorothy Lee reported re - the Broomball banquet and bank balance. The wedding on August 4 was discussed. $100.00 was sent to the Larry Cooke fund for his treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. We wish him "good luck" on the treatment. Anne Lee was appointed to attend the Bicentennial meeting meeting at the Nestleton Community Centre. It was discussed that there are only five gravy boats left in the Community Community Centre cupboard and a year ago ten new ones were purchased by the Court. Where have they gone? Anyone knowing their whereabouts, whereabouts, please notify the group. (Someone has taken them home and forgotten to return them - perhaps - this happens frequently). Lunch was provided by Marg Lee, Helen Robinson and Anne Lee. Next meeting on June 4th. Place to be decided.
