Kendal On June 30th Kendal United Church was the scene of a pretty wedding in which Cindy Neal and Allan Webster were united in marriage. The reception was held in Tyrone Community Centre followed by dancing. Kendal Women's Institute catered. Tyrone is to be congratulated for the great catering facilities they have in their kitchen, it made all that work almost a pleasure. The older members of Kendal community are saddened to hear of the sudden death of Lloyd Ransberry this Saturday. Many of us have danced a lively square to his fiddle. Our condolences to Neta and the family. Newtonville United Church put on a successful B.B.Q. this Sunday. Kendal United Church will be closed for the month of July for holidays. Mr. and Mrs. John DeJonge of Kendal held a two day family reunion this weekend - that must have been some do. Mrs. Helen Couroux has kindly invited the Institute members to her cottage again this year, more on that next week. Well another holiday weekend weekend has come and gone.
