But it's still hard to believe that a motorcycle with these options is worth over $10,000. For most people, a 42- year-old khaki colored Harley Harley Davidson would be nothing nothing more than an interesting interesting war-time fossil. To antique antique car fanatics it's a gem. Marrill MacDonald is an antique car fanatic, so when he heard about this 1942 bike on display at Ed Leslie's Leslie's Motorcycle Factory in Toronto, he just had to have it. "It is probably the best bike ever made," claimed Mr. MacDonald, the director of A.B.C. Auctions Ltd. "This will still be on the. road when most Japenese models models are in the shop." Car-gazing used to be just a hobby for Marrill but sooner than later the hours turned into weeks and the weeks into months. What was once a pastime became a full-time profession. The bike, which now sits on his Taunton Rd.-lawn, is the first motorcycle Marrill has ever owned. "I've looked all over for a vehicle like this one," he said. "I really really enjoy riding it." Marrill drives his new toy into town quite often, causing causing a lot of heads to turn. "Everyone inquires about the bike and I like talking to people about it," smiled Marrill.
