It would be nice if we could take the best of all of them and come up with the perfect leader to cure all our ills -- dream on. Members of the Women's Institute went to Helen Couroux's cottage this year and the time was enjoyed by all -- all except this member who for the most part was laid low by the cold bug. We went fishing a couple of times -- no fish on the first trip and the second trip we made a hasty retreat just ahead of a storm. One 'believe it or not' item, Eleanor Foster was calmly prepared to get out of the boat clutching her fishing rod with worm attached when apparently one greedy little sunfish couldn't stand to see that big fat worm getting away, with one flying leap he grabbed it about one inch out of the water. Honest, we saw it happen. Your kind hospitality is appreciated Helen --thank you. Here are some sport scores: Kendal Ladies' Lobb Ball (Young's Auto Body) -- Tues., June 16th, 7 - 5 win for Kendal; Thurs., June 28th, 11 - 3 loss for Kendal; Tues., July 3rd, 19 - 4 win for Kendal; Thurs., July 5, 7 - 6 win for Kendal.
