Nestleton - Caesarea News by Mabel Cawker Caesarea Regatta The 52nd Lake Scugog Annual Regatta and Field Day will be held this coming weekend - August 4,5 & 6 - 1984, with interesting activities activities for everyone - so try and attend - you won't be disappointed. Community Notes Betty and Ernie Mc- Meekin, Cedar Grove, Caesarea, would like to thank their dear cottage friends for the super surprise party given in honour of Era's retirement retirement from Bell Canada. It was all so wonderful! Chas. and Nell Cawker of Scarborough, were Tuesday afternoon and dinner guests with Sam and Mabel Cawker at the farm, Scugog Point Road. During the afternoon, they all enjoyed a visit with Gord Cawker of Lindsay. Lindsay. John and Marion Hall, William's Point, were guests at the wedding of John's niece, Rhonda Pierson of Oshawa - who became the bride of Murray Bowes of Edmonton, Alberta. The ceremony was held at Kingsview United Church in Oshawa with the reception at the Bobby Orr Lounge, Civic Auditorium. Approximately 80 guests present for this lovely wedding - and reception with dancing after. Best Wishes to the bride and groom. Marjorie Nuskett of Oshawa, a good friend who worked with Marion Hall at Bell Canada, spent a couple of days with John and Marion at their home at Williams Point. Besides other activities Marjorie Marjorie enjoyed a shopping trip to Lindsay while there holidaying. Vic and Win Malcolm, Nestleton, accompanied by grandson, Bradley Malcolm, drove to Fort Henry this past week to see the historic tall ships.
