Mrs. Nellie Brawley called last Tuesday to inform us that husband Ivor had been admitted admitted to Bowmanville Hospital on Saturday, July 28. We are pleased to report that Mr. Brawley returned home last Thursday. Miss Jan Farrow was among the 225 children chosen to attend the camp at Camp Samac from Monday till Friday as a safely patroller put on by the Durham Regional Regional Police. It included touring the Nuclear Power Plant and the Stud Farm at Oshawa. Demonstrations by the Fire Department and the St. John's Ambulance was also enjoyed.
