This was a great sadness and shock to everyone who knew and respected respected him. Mr. and Mrs. John Windalt and Erin recently attended a Windatt family picnic in Sudbury at the cottage of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Bunka, Kathy, Dwayne and Stephanie. Later, they travelled through Northern Ontario for a week and stopped at the Fonk collage collage at Sundridge on their way home. Mr. and Mrs. John Oudyk, Sixth Line, returned last Thursday from a trip through the Maritime provinces and visited their son John in Newcastle, Newcastle, New Brunswick. On Friday, Mrs. Marian Fox, Bowmanville spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Trim. On Saturday evening, Mrs. Dawn Brettell visited with her parents Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Hummerslon at Cedar Valley Resort. Mr. and Mrs. John Windatt and Erin were Saturday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Art King, Whitby and a friend visiting from Ireland. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Souch attended the wedding wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Vanstone held at Newcastle United Church and the reception reception and dance which followed at the Community Centre in Orono. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Souch attended the wedding of Mr. Tim Carveth of Orono and Miss Sarah Fleming of Brighton Brighton and held in Brighton on Saturday afternoon. Brian and Blaine Souch were overnight guests of their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Harold Souch on Saturday evening. On Saturday, the Browns- dale Bluebirds Bantam baseball baseball team won the 1st place gold at a baseball tournament held at Memorial Park in Bowmanville. Tammy Farrow was a player on the team which was coached by Mr. Ron Farrow. Also on Saturday at Memorial Memorial Park in Bowmanville, the Brownsdale Bluejays Pee Wee baseball team coached by Mrs. Linda Farrow and Mrs. Doris Sinclair won the 2nd place silver at the baseball tournament. Jody Farrow, Tara Sinclair, Kim Maas, Tammy Hansen and Vanessa Wallace were players on the team. On Saturday evening, Mrs. Isabelle Trim visited with her cousins Mr. and Mrs. William Loates on Scugog Island, Port Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Ewart Robinson Robinson visited Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Todd and family. On Saturday evening, Mrs. Bev Higgons, Mary and Sarah flew to their home in Vancouver, Vancouver, B.C. after a holiday spent with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Caswell and Jeff.
