Durham College Holds Opening of New High Tech Building Durham College held an official opening of its new Skilled Trades and High Technology building on Tuesday August 28th. The new wing will allow the College to accommodate up to 600 more students. On hand for the opening opening ceremonies were (left to right) the College's Board Chairman, Nigel Schilling; College President, Mel Garland; Ontario Minister of Education and Minister of Colleges and Universities, Dr. Bette Stephenson; and Frank Miller, Ontario Minister of Industry and Trade. Durham College will be able to accommodate up to 600 more students students this fall due to a new Skilled Trades and High Technology Building Building which officially opened Tuesday, Tuesday, August 28th.
