They are members of a pop music group, ETERNITY EXPRESS. This unusual group has a unique style all their own. Eternity Express has compiled an impressive record of more than 300 live appearances each year, five albums, more than 2 million miles on the road, and has been together longer than any other Christian band. Traveling in two 40-foot Silver Eagle buses, they appear each year before more than 200,000 people in churches, high schools and colleges, parks, prisons, outdoor festivals, as well as foreign countries. Appearances range from small gatherings to major festivals such as Fishnet, where they performed with B.J. Thomas, and Jesus , Southeast, as well as a major evangelical meeting in Seoul, Korea. They have also worked with Resurrection Band, Glad, Andrus Blackwood & Co., Truth, and Fireworks to name a few. While the six-member band is led by Nathan Gaub, Eternity Express is actually a branch of Ken Gaub and Youth Outreach Unlimited, or Y.O.U. for short, with headquarters in Yakima, Wash. Ken is a super exciting personality gifted with an unusual sense of humor. He originates from the northwest part of the United States, and has appeared with ETERNITY EXPRESS from one end of the country to the other. His speaking engagements engagements are diversified and his appearances have been in colleges, high schools, TV shows, universities, prisons, conventions, state and county fairs, some of the world's largest churches, music festivals, and even the Pentagon. Ken's remarkable experiences and his diligent quest for answers to unusual questions make up his formula for success. He has a simple humorous, delightful yet profound presentation that will alternately make you laugh and cry. ETERNITY EXPRESS will be appearing with Ken Gaub at the Bowmanvilie High School Auditorium, Tuesday, October 2,1984 and the time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this concert are $4.00 at the door or can be purchased in advance by calling 623-5182.
