George Kennett had Town Sport's number as he shut the door on numerous close-in chances late in the game. Jan Bennett and Preston Preston scored for the winners, assisted by Mark Luxton, Ron Jukic, and Barry Oliver, who was robbed of a couple of goals by Mike Willoughby in the Town Sports net. Bill Prentice from Rudy Kvasnak and Bob Jones accounted for the loser's scoring scoring in Mark Murdoch's and John Colwell's coaching debut. In game two, Castle Hotel got two goals from Kevin Wilbur and one from Bill Sainsbury as team two lost a 4 - 2 squeaker. Bruce Osborne and Jerry Leddy scored for team two. George Knight's Castle squad had assists from D. Knox and Sainsbury with two each, Don Rowley, Randy Crossey, and Wilbur. Team 2, coached by Todd Bale had assists by Doug Rickard and Randy Master- son. Game two was a fast paced affair, with lots of work for Dave Rowley in the team two net and Scott Burgess at the other end. Game three was playoff type hockey as Norm Caruana's Delicatessen gang held league leading Hunt's ■ Photography scoreless for 42 minutes. Tireless Brian Allin, who seemed to have brought his own puck, scored two and set up two more as Hunt's poured it on in the third period to win 5 - 2. Jim Brooks, behind the Hunt's bench, got goals from A1 Brunt (two), and Paul Reid. Brunt, Rod Plain, and Terry Vanschyndel notched single assists. Norm's Deli goals were by Don Farrow and Mike Adams, assisted by Dave Brown, Phil Broome, and Don Farrow. Pete Sero's coaching skill could not counter the determination determination of the shorthanded Hunt's team who got tremendous tremendous two way efforts from everyone.
