Nestleton United Celebrates Anniversary Nestleon United Church was built in 1900 and observed its 84th anniversary anniversary in the present Church on Sunday morning, morning, October 28, at 11 a.m. with a very fine congregation congregation on hand to help celebrate. The first Church, .wasy built 149 years ago. The weather was ideal and many were dressed in old-fashioned costumes for this Bicentennial service. Guests were warmly welcomed by the minister, Rev. Dale Davis our anniversary speaker who used as his sermon topic "Our Legacy" presenting to the congregation a resume of church life over the many years and the changes that have come about. As time has moved along we have gained in membership and we have many strong adherents - sensitive sensitive to the needs - spiritual and social. What will be our legacy? A strong sermon! The delightful little folk of the Sunday School with their shining faces along with their dedicated dedicated teachers added a great deal to the service. Next Sunday, Blackstock anniversary at 10 a.m. Guest preacher will be Rev. Dr. Jewitt Parr. Service will be withdrawn at Nestleton. We trust many from Nestleton will join with Blackstock next Sunday and help them celebrate. Community Briefs This past weekend, Teresa Wygerde of St. .
