Mr. Russell Best had dinner recently with the Bowmans. Glad to report Mr. Doug Jackson, Brooklin, formerly of Enniskillen is doing very well in Weston Hospital after his recent heart surgery. Congratulations go to Mr. and Mrs. James Maddock (nee Tammy Ball of Oshawa) who were married in our church on Saturday. Tammy and her family were residents of Enniskillen several years ago. A special thank you to the pupils of Enniskillen Public School and Sunday School for collecting $250.00 for U.N.I.C.E.F. and also to all who supported the children by placing their pennies in the U.N.I.C.E.F. boxes. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wright, Betty and Mrs. Frank Spry enjoyed the Oshawa Folk Arts Council presentation * the International Evening of Song on Sunday evening at East- dale Collegiate. Among the groups was the Oshawa Senior Citizens' Club Choir directed by Miss Marguerite Wright. Your group did a terrific job, Aunt Marguerite. On Dec. 9th the White Gift and Mitten Tree Service will be held at 7:00 in the evening. Please get busy with your khitting of mittens, etc L Meeting six was held on Oct. 30th and we decided to hold our fitness fair at the school and play volleyball next Tuesday. Pauline Beckett and Tracy McDlmoyle are going to do a demonstration for achievement night and we discussed how it should be done. Dawn Romano and Terry Shaw made oakcakes which most members thought were very much like oatmeal cookies. We played the animal, vegetable sport game and it was a lot of fun. The meeting was adjourned at 8:55. Sharon and Jennifer Preece, Oshawa spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Allan Werry.
