OBITUARIES HILDA MARGARILA BROWN The death of Hilda Mar- garila Brown, aged 78, occurred occurred on Friday, November 16th, 1984, at Frost Manor N.H. She had been ill five weeks. Born at Hampton and educated educated at Hampton and Bowmanville Bowmanville schools, she was the daughter of Wesley and Hilda Nichols. On July 31st, 1925, she was married to David H. Brown. A resident of Peterborough from 1953 to 1981, she had previously resided in Bowmanville. Bowmanville. Left to mourn her passing are her sons Leon and Lawrence, a daughter-in-law Betty, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The Reverend E. Schamer- horn officiated at the funeral service held on Monday at the Morris Funeral Chapel. The organist was Mrs. J. Albert Cole. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. ALICE CURSON In her 92nd year, Alice Curson passed away at Marnwood House, Bowmanville, on Monday, November 5th, 1984. Born and educated in Kent, England, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Crouch, and was married September 25th, 1917 to James 0. Curson. A resident at Marnwood for 12 years she had previously resided at R.R. 2, Newcastle. She was a member of the Anglican Church. Survivors are May (Mrs. Joseph Brown), Doris (Mrs. John Hartwick), Irene Hicks, Joan (Mrs. Stan Couch) and Jim Curson, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by the Reverend Byron Yates on Thursday at the Morris Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers were Messrs. Fred and Rob Curson, John and Larry Sinclair, Barry Hodgson and Brian Kehoe. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.
