HALLO WELL Born and educated at Stark- ville, Norma M. Hallowed passed away in Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville, on Thursday, November 29lh, 1984, following an illness of four and a half months. She was the daughter of Silas G. and Mary Ann (Henry) Hallowed. A resident of Bowmanville for 10 years, she had lived in Starkvide until 1945, then in Toronto and Newcastle and spending her summers in Starkvide. Miss Hallowed was a member of Shiloh Church, the Shiloh U.C.W., and the Bowmanville Bowmanville Senior Citizens Club. Left to mourn her passing are two brothers Llewellyn and Sidney Hallowed and families. The Reverend Edward Schamerhorn and Mrs. Linda King officiated at the funeral services held on Saturday at the Morris Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers were nephews Jack Walker, Brian Caswell, Gerald and Scott Hallowed, Leslie and Jeffrey Caswell. Flower bearers were Orme Fads, Wilfred Walker, Morley Robinson and Andy Gray. Floral tokens were received in her memory from the Starkvide Community and the Shiloh U.C.W. Interment Orono Cemetery, MARION KATHLEEN / EVANS ! The death occurred suddenly suddenly on Monday, October 8th, 1984, of Marion Kathleen Evans in her 87th year. Daughter of William and Isabelle (McConnachie) Wadded, she was born at the 5th Concession, Orono, and educated at Orono. On November 22nd, 1924, she was married to William Colville Evans. A resident at 7 St. George Street, Bowmanville, she had previously resided at R.R. 1, Orono and Yelverton. She was a member of the 1915 Orono Softball team. Surviving are her husband Colville, a son Donald C., Orono, a brother William A. Waddell, of Palmers Rapids, and one granddaughter. The Reverend Fred Milnes officiated at the funeral services services held on Wednesday at the Morris Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers were Messrs. William Tamblyn, Max Lycett, Bruce Yeo, Gordon Martin, Edward Coatham and Harold Moffat. Floral tokens were received in her memory from the G. M. Plant Security and Antioch neighbours and friends. BERNICE RUTH EVELYN BOTHWELL 111 for the past year, Bernice Ruth Evelyn Bothwell, aged 68, passed away in Oshawa General Hospital, on Wednesday, Wednesday, November 7th, 1984. • Born at Burketon and educated educated there and at the Long Sault, she was the daughter of Joseph Adams and Mable Martin. She was married June 6th, 1919, to David William Bothwell. A former resident of Oshawa, Maple Grove and Enniskillen, she had attended Maple Grove and Enniskillen Churches, and was a member of Maple Grove U.C.W. and was a former secretary of the U.C.W. Surviving are three daughters daughters Shirley (Mrs. Clarence Stainton), Barbara (Mrs. Fred Hogarth) and Nancy (Mrs. Bob Selleck) and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Friday, at the Morris Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers were Messrs. Wally, John and Don Bothwell, Bothwell, Murray Adams, Bill Selleck and Kevin Buzzell. Tributes were received in her memory from I.G.A., Rogers Cable, Canadian Cancer Society, Enniskillen United Church, the Gideon Bible Society and Participation Participation House. MARILYN EVELYN WELSH The death of Marilyn Evelyn Welsh, aged 48, occurred occurred following a two weeks illness, on Wednesday, November 28th, 1984, at London University Hospital. Born and educated in Oshawa, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Cole. A resident of Enniskillen for one and a half years, she had previously resided in Cour- tice, and had been employed as a postmistress at Fitchett's General Store for a year and a half. Surviving are her parents, Richard Welsh, Mrs. Patricia Spencer, Mrs. Susanne Smale, Tim Welsh, nine grandchildren grandchildren and loving friend of Lenard Fitchett.
